Adjectives

After learning about adjectives, we created our own versions of the Jack and Jill nursery rhyme.  The students created a list of adjectives for each noun in the poem.  Then they were given a copy of the Jack and Jill nursery rhyme with blanks before each noun.  The students chose an adjective from their list to describe each noun and inserted it in their copy.  Finally, they published their own version of Jack and Jill with illustrations.
